The Festival of Suffolk have organised a 550-mile torch relay visiting 250 towns and villages in Suffolk, as part of a major event celebrating the Queen's Platinum Jubilee, starting Friday 13th May.  On Day 18, Monday 30th May, the torch will make its way from Aldeburgh to Snape (arriving around 09:30) and on to Orford, ending up at the Suffolk Showground on 1st June.  Elisabeth Langley will carry the torch for Snape, transported through the village by rickshaw.

N.B. There is a typo on the shuttle bus timetable. On Thursday 2nd June, the pickup time at Foxes Corner will be 7pm.
