| The Golden Key | The Golden Key is a relaxed cottage-style dining pub dating back to the 1600's, just tucked away from the main road through the village.
With large roaring fires in the winter and a sunny front terrace for warmer times the bar offers a good range of Adnams and guests ales, 12 wines by the glass (and an expanding
range by the bottle) and superb quality organic, Fairtrade and Rainforest Alliance approved coffees.
Together with chef Jon Winyard, landlord Nick Attfield's emphasis on very local and very fresh ingredients dominates the menus. Fish landed at Aldeburgh, a smoke house in Saxmundham, lambs just a few hundred yards away, rare-breed pigs, salad, vegetables and flowers from local allotments and poly-tunnels, organically made breads and chickens in the pub garden provide much of the produce.
